We’re excited to share that the International Student Summit (ISS) has once again received a grant from the City of Melbourne to run the Melbourne event. This marks the second time ISS has been supported, and it’s something we’re very proud of.
For us, this is more than just funding. It’s a strong vote of confidence in what ISS is doing for international students and the organisations that support them.
Since 2018, ISS has focused on creating a space where international students can get real answers about their future in Australia. Over the years, we’ve seen thousands of students attend looking for clarity around:
- Career pathways
- Visa and PR options
- Further study decisions
- Job opportunities
- Professional networking
The City of Melbourne recognising this impact for the second time reinforces that ISS is playing an important role in supporting Melbourne’s international student community.
Returning to Melbourne Again
With this grant, we’re excited to bring ISS back to Melbourne and build on the momentum from previous events. Each year, we aim to improve the experience for both students and exhibitors, while keeping the focus on meaningful conversations and real outcomes.
The continued support from the City of Melbourne helps us do exactly that — create an event that brings the international student ecosystem together under one roof.
